Medicines

Weleda’s medicines are based upon the principles of anthroposophy, developed by Dr. Rudolf Steiner. Dr Steiner worked closely with physicians to create these remedies. Since this time, Weleda's physicians and pharmacists have continued to create the finest, natural remedies available.

Our holistic medicines are gentle, effective and time-tested. All Weleda remedies facilitate our body’s natural healing processes and abilities. Rather than simply masking symptoms, as is often the case in conventional medicine, we look to our symptoms as signs of imbalance within our body. We can then gain an understanding of how our body is naturally working to heal itself. Our medicines are therefore formulated to stimulate a patient’s innate self-healing powers and to restore and maintain the health of the individual.

First Aid

We’ve all suffered the pain and irritation of accidents and injuries. Having the right ‘medicines’ on hand can make these unpleasant situations much easier to deal with. Regardless of whether your first aid kit is a few creams and plasters thrown in a drawer or a comprehensively stocked box complete with a red cross on the lid, Weleda’s key herbal and homeopathic first aid products would be a valuable (and well used) addition to any kit. Sports Medicines

The Weleda range of Sports Medicines can provide symptomatic relief from muscle pain as well as promote the healing of damaged tissue, without the side-effects usually associated with anti-inflammatories medications.
When Weleda Sports Medicines are used before exercise they can tone and warm muscles, increasing local circulation and improving blood flow. This helps support sports performance, minimise injuries and reduces the likelihood of recurring injuries.
If you suffer from a sports injury or are over-doing it during training you can use these same Weleda medicines to relieve stiff and strained muscles or reduce inflammation and pain, they will also help to heal damaged tissue.

Colds & Flu

Susceptibility to a cold or the flu is dependent on an individual's general state of health. Colds are a sign that the immune system is weakened and susceptible to viral infections.

Digestion
